1) Asthma Awareness Month-May and World Asthma Day- May 6, 2014
In an effort to support World Asthma Day, the South Florida Asthma Consortium along with the Florida Asthma Coalition is promoting events all during the month of May. We are attempting to partner with our local hospitals, health departments, pharmacies, schools, and childcare facilities to increase awareness of asthma and the importance of having one’s asthma under control. We are asking for your help in iocating partners for these events. We will be listing the groups that have agreed to assist us with this project. If you can help, please let us know. Check back soon to see all of the events planned during May for observance of Asthma Awareness Month.
